What We Do
Nelson Ivan Comerci, Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist (Idaho ACU-288 & NCCAOM #13089) offers a wide range of traditional medical techniques for a variety of imbalances (physical, mental, and/or emotional). Trained in San Francisco, California with 24 years of clinical experience, providing affordable, logical, efficient, traditional techniques to help you reach your optimum health. Many of our patients seek us out after conventional tests and treatments have provided an inadequate explanation for how they are feeling. Others are simply seeking natural alternatives to Western medical treatment.
Pain Management
Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine is incredibly effective for alleviating both chronic and acute, it’s one of the most common complaints we see. Acupuncture triggers the body’s own healing mechanisms, easing physical and even emotional pain from the inside out, safely and naturally.
Fertility, Prenatal & Postpartum
We use acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, and stress reduction to help optimize fertility. From premature ovarian failure, Diminished ovarian reserve, Elevated FSH levels, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), and even blocked fallopian tubes are common causes of infertility that we treat in our practice.
Men’s Health
We’ve got a range of time-tested strategies to help men feel their best. Using herbs, acupuncture, and supplements, we treat a wide range of urological complaints from prostate health to ED. Low sperm count, poor morphology, lowered libido, we’ve got options for you.
Cardiovascular Health
Acupuncture can support cardiovascular health by helping to lower blood pressure and improve circulation, help regulate the cardiovascular system, reducing stress on the heart and promoting overall heart health.
Skin Conditions
Acupuncture can help improve skin conditions by reducing inflammation and promoting better circulation which can alleviate symptoms of skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and acne.
General Health & Wellness
Chinese Medicine is one of your best allies in maintaining health and well-being. Whether we work alongside your healthcare provider or as an alternative, our methods give us a bigger toolbox to help resolve complex problems that fall through the cracks of Western Medicine.
Pediatric Care
We love supporting the health of children and teens and making sure they are healthy, naturally. In Chinese Medicine, kids have their specific energetic concerns, so we don’t treat children like simply “mini-adults.” We support them in a way that honors their unique constitutions. We treat children with routine complaints such as cough, allergies, fever, asthma, eczema, constipation, and even complex neurological and immune disorders.

Things You Can Do To Facilitate Healing With Acupuncture
For best results, please schedule your activities so that you do not come in when extremely hungry, immediately after eating, or when extremely tired. After treatment, take it easy and assimilate the effects of the treatment for a few hours, if possible. Do your best not to be too busy and/or strenuously exercise after your treatment. Wait at least an hour to eat a full meal and do not swim. While undergoing treatment, you may benefit most by refraining from excessive use of caffeine, cigarettes, alcohol, and non-prescription substances.
You will help yourself most by getting enough sleep, nutrition, and exercise as well as setting aside some time each day for complete and mental relaxation. And give thanks every day for your life!
Your health and well-being are important to me. I will do my best to facilitate you on your healing path, and the best way to partner with me in bringing you to your optimum health is to follow through with the recommendations that I give you. And always feel free to ask questions and provide feedback.
Stop guessing. Start living.
Whether it’s your first step to a healthier life or your last resort, Chinese medicine gives you the power to make positive changes.
